About Us

Before I started NAO (North Atlantic Outerwear) I worked as a Pharmacy Technician. I was in this profession for 20 years before deciding to take a leap of faith to pursue my lifelong passion of becoming an entrepreneur.

 

I have always had a love for fashion and the outdoors, so I decided to combine the two and create a brand that represents my roots and my passion. The idea of creating a line of outerwear that is both stylish and functional came to me while I was out hiking with my family in the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
